Ok, TSA? Time to stop the scanner bullshit. Seriously. It was bad enough that they just invade your privacy. Now they invade your privacy and the images are posted on the goddamned internet. Way to go, America. Way to rip another shred of our human decency away in order to provide us security that isn't actually real.
Accidents stopped the shoe bomber, the liquid bomber, the goddamn underwear bomber from blowing their bombs. If the next guy is on the ball, we have a serious problem.
And there isn't much we can do about it.

ReplyDeleteThat's not even the point, Nick. First of all, I don't fly, largely because of the increased crap people are being put through just to get on a plane. Second of all, I've been reading up. Israel does excellent work with their airport security, and it's much faster and much less invasive than the Western ideal. Why can't we live up to that?
